Hey loves,
Being back from South of France after two days with L’Occitane is such a lovely feeling. Even with our very busy program, it was the occasion for me to enjoy the sun and Provence’s vibes. We had a wonderful experience and I couldn’t discover this place better than with L’Occitane. They organized a perfect schedule – curious to know? Just keep reading, baby!
The trip was all about Chasing the Golden Hour. L’Occitane launched a new perfume called “Terre de Lumière“, which is a pure dream. Light, sweet, fresh and very special : sharing these pictures with you guys is the only way to explain you how wonderful this scent is.
Take the light and feel your emotions
Day one – we started very early. We had to be ready for our very first experience at 5 am : hot air balloon. I always dreamed about it and I can’t explain you how magical it was. The light was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen and the sky took my breath away. It was a precious moment which will stay in my mind forever. After taking my emotion back to me, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast (with an incredible view) and had a fantastic session with a perfume expert. We discovered all the secrets of “Terre de Lumière” and learned the link between these scents and our personal emotions.
Terre de Lumière
Moody and feeling very fresh after talking about our emotions, we were off to lunch all together back in the hotel. Then, we took the cars and went to “Le musée des lustres”, which means… A museum of chandeliers. How lovely is this concept? I entered to this special place which was situated in the middle of the wild nature. A dozen of chandeliers were suspended in the ceiling – wow. It was the best place to meet Olivier Baussan, the founder of L’Occitane. He shared with us the whole story of Terre de Lumière, from the idea to the final conception. L’Occitane just perfectly knew how to share the feeling of the light – which is the very key of “Terre de Lumière“. While wearing this wonderful scent during all the trip, I just realized how everything were falling perfectly in place. It is truly magical and charming : it became one of my favorite perfumes so far.
Good vibes
With all the beautiful things I discovered in the space of one day, my mind was exploding of colors. I was very excited about all these experiences, discoveries and meetings. After our escapade in the museum of chandeliers, we were off to see the nature – and to feel it. We arrived in a lovely garden, which was absolutely huge. Blankets, pillows and candles in the middle of two wonderful trees during the golden hour : it was time for real introspection. We had a yoga session and it was all I need these last couple of months : taking time for my heart, my breath, my soul. I felt light and I am so very thankful for it! Then, a professional photographer explained us how to catch the light and play with it for our pictures : oh my god, I learned so many details! I can’t wait to test my new photography skills, hehe!
Dinner “à la Provençale”
This wonderful day was over – it was time for us to have a dinner all together. And what a dinner, wow! We were invited in a wonderful villa with all the team. Olivier Baussan was also there with us – what an honor to share this special dinner with him! I felt lucky and happy to be able to attend this lovely night with L’Occitane.
Goodbye, beautiful South of France!
I opened my eyes and realized that I was waking up in the magic of South of France. The morning was very sweet – but “hurry up!” I already had to pack my luggage, because it was the last day. We took time to enjoy breakfast all together one last time – you guys know that it’s my very favorite part of the day, yummy! After this lovely moment, we were off to visit the city with a very unique car… A Citroen 2CV! Even if the weather was very bad, we had so much fun and South of France was still wonderful. A last lunch together – flowers, delicious vegetables, a unique French bread and other specialities : everything was absolutely perfect. We finished a magical experience with a lovely moment shared between us. Thank you L’Occitane for having me with you in your magical world!
One last word to resume everything : Chasing the Golden Hour for “Terre de Lumière” was a memorable experience. All the story behind L’Occitane is unique and I got a real crush on them. Concerning the perfume, I finally found my special scent : I was looking for something fresh, sweet and meaningful. With Terre de Lumière, I have a real treasure. You guys should really go and just try it for a second. I am sure you will fall in love forever.
