YSL BEAUTY – Los Angeles – day 1

I wanted to start this article with this quote because the beginning of 2017 was a pure dream, full of incredible surprises. As you may saw it on my socials medias, I flied to Los Angeles with no other than… YSL BEAUTY. Having the chance to visit the city of my dreams with one of the best makeup brand ever? How magical, fantastic and wonderful is it? When I heard the news, you guys… Imagine a girl in a train full of people, talking on the phone being so hysterical, excited, happy and crazy. That was the first big new of the year and I couldn’t wait for it to start. We had 3 days of activities with YSL Beauty and 1 day off. It was a short trip but oh so inspiring and full of discoveries. Let’s start with all the details about our first day in L.A.! 

First day – Morning – Tattoo session
We stayed at the Ace Hotel, a cool place with some rock and edgy vibes. I woke up to a tons of new YSL Beauty products and after a little hour of makeup, I took the breakfast and hop, the day started! The coolest cars were waiting for us in front of the hotel. We were off to our first atelier… at The Order DTLA, a tattoo studio! YSL is edgy, fun, rock and cool – they could only do amazing stuff. The studio was perfect and full of new YSL Beauty products. We had much fun, tried the lipsticks and guess what… If we wanted to, they offered us our tattoos! I know  I always said that these things were not for me, but having this incredible experience in Los Angeles got me change my mind…

First day – Afternoon – Meet Staz Lindes & Atelier of art
After our tattoo-morning, we had a delicious lunch all together and met Staz Lindes, the new face of YSL Beauty! She was the central point of all this trip. Just to give you a little idea of how huge it was : I came from Switzerland with YSL Beauty Swiss team (yayyy) and many other bloggers came with their team from Germany, Italy, France, Mexico, China, and many other countries. Squad goals, dream team, best crew ever, I swear! After the lunch, we continued our creative day and went to a gallery named Art Share L.A. First, I had my makeup done with the new Spring 2017 collection by a special makeup artist. Then, after having my hair done as well, we had a cool shooting with YSL Team. I could never imagine to live a first day in L.A. like this one. I met so many wonderful souls, inspiring people and I discovered a magical city. Stay tuned for the next article with the story of our second day in the City of Angels! Lots of love, x Sindi.
